LINCOLN — October 21, 2024 — Lincoln seats seven-member Town Meeting Study Committee from a field of 16. The Select Board on Oct. 21 unanimously appointed Ariane Lazos, Kenny Mitchell, Andy Wang, Taylor Ortiz, Jenny Morris, Ben Schiller and Andrew Pang to the new committee after a two-hour interview session in which each candidate was given two minutes per question. Member Jim Hutchinson grouped his selections around "governance experience," "analytics or research chops" and "communication skills." Member Kim Bodnar, who chaired the meeting, was separately named the board's representative on the nine-member committee, which will also include the town moderator. Hutchinson directed Town Administrator Tim Higgins to ask unsuccessful applicants to "run alongside" the committee. The body will introduce itself at the State of the Town meeting Dec. 7.
