Lincoln Select Board votes 3-0 to enter executive session on real-property matter

LINCOLN — October 25, 2023 — Lincoln Select Board meets briefly, then closes doors for real-property talks with Rural Land Foundation in the room. The board convened at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Donaldson Room and, after a procedural reading by Chair Jim Hutchinson and a roll call confirming members Jennifer Glass and Kim Bodnar present, voted 3-0 to enter executive session under MGL Chapter 30A, Section 21(a), Exemption 6 to consider "the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property." Geoff McGean and Michelle Barnes of the Rural Land Foundation were seated for the discussion but did not address the board on the open record. Town Administrator Tim Higgins and administrative assistant Peggy Elder also attended. No property, dollar figure or counterparty was identified publicly before Hutchinson stopped the recording.
