Select Board signs March 29 warrant and approves water project bond notes

LINCOLN — February 24, 2025 — Lincoln Select Board signs March 29 warrant and previews clicker voting debut. The board voted 3-0 to sign the warrant and 3-0 to authorize bond anticipation notes for the water main project. Assistant Town Administrator Dan Pereira said the meeting will run in a single room at the Lincoln School with doors at 8:30 a.m. and a 9:30 a.m. start, with Meridia staff on site to manage the new electronic clickers; clickers must stay in the room, and abstentions and live vote totals will be disabled. "You have to be in the room. You should be in the room," Pereira said. Town Administrator Tim Higgins reported the Water Commission will hold a rate hearing March 4 at 7:30 p.m. on what he said will be roughly a 10 percent increase tied to the water main capital project.
